Dr. Shridharani is a board certified urologist and fellowship trained specialist in male reproductive and prosthetic urology with Erlanger Urology. His practice offers comprehensive Men’s Reproductive and Sexual Health services including comprehensive management of the infertile male, reproductive microsurgery including vasectomy reversal, urologic cancer survivorship, and penile/urethral reconstruction.
In practice, Dr. Shridharani prides himself on applying the most current techniques and data while approaching each patient in an individualized manner. Furthermore, Dr. Shridharani emphasizes patient education and participation in all aspects of care. He believes that although physicians can make treatment recommendations, patients must be closely involved in the decision-making process. He understands that through this process the most successful outcomes with regard to patient satisfaction is obtained.
Dr. Shridharani is a member of the American Urological Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Society for the Study of Male Reproduction and The Society for Male Reproductive and Urology. He currently reviews journals for the Journal of Urology and the Gold Journal.
Dr. Shridharani continues to perform clinical research on the subjects of vasectomy, varicocele, erectile dysfunction and vasectomy reversal, and has presented his work to several international meetings such as the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Urological Society Annual Meetings. His research has been featured online at U.S. News and World Report, LiveScience, and Health Day.
