About / Overview
Christina Heitzinger is a Pediatric Audiologist with the Audiology Department of Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, and also serves on the Support Team for the Erlanger Cleft and Craniofacial Center
Dr. Heitzinger specializes in the diagnosis of childhood hearing loss. She completed her Au.D. at Utah State University where she received Listening and Spoken Language training focused on working with children of all ages and abilities with hearing loss on a family-centered interventional team.
Originally from Arizona, Christina completed her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University where she earned a minor in Disability Studies and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificate and completed research in early language and literacy development.
Her clinical experience includes private practice, ENT, hospital, humanitarian, and university settings. She completed her clinical externship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
