About / Overview

I grew up in Cleveland, TN and love the southeast Tennessee area. I attended ETSU Quillen College of Medicine and wanted to return to the Chattanooga area upon graduating, where I completed residency in Family Medicine. I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, camping, climbing, running, and gardening. I also enjoy reading, sipping coffee, and woodworking.

I view the patient-doctor relationship as a partnership and I strive to educate patients well on big-picture concepts of health and disease. I strive to explain various treatment options and evidence-based medicine recommendations so that patients can make educated decisions regarding their care. I am passionate about wellness, growth mindset, and lifestyle modification including nutrition and exercise with their profound effects on physical and mental health and well-being.
