About / Overview
Jenny Ehlers is an Occupational Therapist with the Erlanger Outpatient Therapy Certified Hand Therapy Program. She spent undergraduate school at Covenant College and continued on to become a graduate of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. There, she earned her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2007. She is registered by the National Occupational Therapy Credentialing Board (NBCOT) and is currently licensed to practice in the states of TN and GA.
Since Jenny’s professional journey began in Chattanooga over 15 years ago, she has worked in multiple settings. However, her entire career has included some aspect of outpatient experience. She spent four years assisting specifically with a hand clinic focusing on fabricating custom orthotics for a variety of upper extremity injuries. She has also been specializing in hand therapy focusing on shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand injuries since 2015. Her passion is rooted in this patient population where she plans to focus her career. She is currently pursuing a specialty certification in hand therapy (CHT).
