About / Overview

Dr. Kimberly V. Reames is an endocrinologist in Hayesville, North Carolina and is affiliated with Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital.  She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and received her medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine.  She completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at University of Chicago hospitals and has been in practice for more than 20 years.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.  

Her areas of clinical interests include diabetes, metabolism, acromegaly, adrenal gland disorders, calcium metabolism problems, hormone and thyroid disorders, obesity, osteoporosis, pancreatic disorders, parathyroid gland problems, pheochromocytoma, pituitary gland disorders and Empty Sella Syndrome, Grave’s Disease and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, 

Dr. Reames enjoys living in western North Carolina and particularly loves the beautiful scenery.  Hiking, spending time with her family and her yorkie, Rocco, are a few of her favorite things!
