About / Overview

Dr. Rose is a board-certified family medicine physician with Erlanger Primary Care – Volkswagen Drive. Born and raised just south of Atlanta, Dr. Rose attended Georgia State University for both his undergraduate and graduate education, where he received a master’s degree in cellular and molecular physiology. After a brief stint in laboratory research, Dr. Rose decided to pursue a career in medicine and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Rose completed his family medicine residency training at Erlanger, affiliated with The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga. His clinical interests include preventative medicine, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, acute care, office procedures, and LGBTQIA+ medicine.

When he’s not working, you can find Dr. Rose outside hiking, trail-running, camping, or gardening. He is happy to call Chattanooga home and enjoys exploring all the city has to offer with his partner.
