Critical Care - Pediatric Robin Atha, MD

About / Overview

Dr. Atha is a board-certified pediatrician and fellowship-trained in pediatric critical care. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and then earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Atha completed her residency in pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, before finishing her fellowship in pediatric critical care at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Before joining Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, Dr. Atha worked as a pediatric intensivist at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Prior to specializing in intensive care, she worked as a pediatrician in newborn and Level 1 Neonatal Intensive Care coverage for Stephen County Hospital in Toccoa, Georgia, and as a primary care pediatrician at All Starr Pediatrics in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Dr. Atha has served in several volunteer positions to aid patients and has presented several presentations, posters, and lectures on critical care and preventative medicine. She is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association.
