Dr. Ryan Barnes is an internal medicine physician at Erlanger Primary Care – Cleveland, where he is proud to serve the community he calls home. A Cleveland, TN native, Dr. Barnes graduated from Cleveland High School in 2007 before earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He went on to complete his medical education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Barnes began his career as a hospitalist but discovered his passion for primary care, where he finds great fulfillment in building lasting, meaningful relationships with his patients.  

In his spare time, Dr. Barnes enjoys reading, playing video games, spending time with family and friends, and playing with his Dachshund.
