A First-Ever Certification in Total Ankle Replacement
Erlanger is the first health system in the country to achieve certification for Total Ankle Replacement from DNV-GL, a world-leading certification organization. Based on American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) guidelines, this certification recognizes program excellence in patient care and outcomes. Prior to Erlanger’s certification, DNV-GL did not have a Total Ankle Replacement certification. The two organizations worked together to create a certification dedicated to benefit patients through quality care, positive outcomes, and increased patient safety.
