Medicare Part B
This “medical insurance” covers physician care, outpatient hospital care and surgery and ambulance services. Part B also covers some preventive services. You do not receive Part B coverage automatically like Part A. You will need to enroll in Part B in order to have coverage. More information.

Medicare Part C
These “Medicare advantage” plans are an alternative to traditional Medicare. These plans are offered by private insurance companies that are approved by Medicare and have a more limited network of providers. More information.

This “prescription drug insurance” is available to everyone who is eligible for Medicare. It is also offered by private insurance companies. More information.
